Ludo's Gourmet kitchen was delightful! Peter (clearly the baker from the white hand prints on his apron) was generous and helpful, he even gave us 6 free pastries at the end of the day. Just a lovely place and great for tourists and locals, alike. Delicious, hand crafted pastry to die for! Highly recommend coming here!
Recently I got the most amazing victoria sponge cake by special order for my son's birthday as it is his favourite. Was absolutely stunning and so delicious, you could tell the cake was made with care and not pumped out of a factory. The Ludo's team was so easy to deal with. Will definitely be going back again and again, can't wait to try more of their weekly specials. Such a great family owned bakery on the coast, love supporting locals. Thank you!

Dropped by whilst in Avoca recently and absolutely loved the French Apple Tart and Cherry Tart. Thanks for helping me break my diet. I enjoyed every morsel. Must go for a swim and work it off so we can do it all over again! Life's too short not to enjoy great food like yours.
We went to Avoca Beach for a quick holiday getaway and came across this place. The coffee and croissant were really good. Also bought the seeded sourdough to take home. The bread was freshly baked, it had a wonderful crunch to the crust but inside was soft and moist. Looks like the cakes and pastries are good too but didn’t get a chance to try them. Staff were friendly too. Highly recommend this place!
Ludo's is the best patisserie/bakery that I've had the pleasure of visiting on the Central Coast. They have the best vanilla slices I've tasted in ages (it's hard to find good ones), magnificent huge, light & flaky croissants, pies, quiches and other sweet and savoury delights in beautiful Avoca. Only negative for me is it can be hard to find a parking space nearby at busy times. Oh yeah, Ludo's has great coffee too. Highly recommended. 😁👍❤
